We’re an itty bitty boutique studio, so seats and scheds fill up fast—like, three to four weeks in advance.

All our booking is done through our online booking system, and questions about booking will be answered by emailing Hello@headchop.com

THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
We ask that everyone arrives 5-10 minutes early. Upon arriving you will meet our intercom system! Pressing the call button of your stylist will alert them of your arrival.
_______PRECAUTIONS WE’RE TAKING_______
Headchop stylists wash their hands, sanitize their workstations, chair, tools, and all communal surfaces before and after each guest is seen.
There will be hand sanitizer available immediately upon entering the studio as well as at your stylists work area.
We no longer require the use of masks for clients who are fully vaccinated. Please have your proof of vaccination available upon entering the studio without a face covering. We will provide masks upon request.
You may request for your stylist to wear a face covering during your visit when booking online by adding a “special request” in the notes section.
SORRY, NO EXTRA GUESTS
Your appointment will be for you only–sorry, no guests. They’ll just have to wait and see how genius you look after!
CONTACTLESS SANITIZING STATIONS
We have contact-less hand sanitizer dispensers posted at the door for your entry, in the front of the salon, and at every styling station for your use!
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS
We no longer accept cash for service payments. All bookings require a card to be kept on file.
Venmo or cash is accepted for tipping your stylist.
WHY WAS MY APPOINTMENT DENIED
ARE YOU NEW TO THE STUDIO?
New clients to Headchop are required to book a chop with a wash and styling service. If you are new and requested our “Head-chop” service we most likely denied the appointment and requested that you submit a new request for a time available with the correct service including a style.
DID YOU REQUEST A COLOR APPOINTMENT?
If you have never received color at Headchop or you are requesting a new color as a returning client we will always request photos from you upon receiving your interest. If we do not receive these photos within the requested time frame we must deny the appointment request. We send out reminder notices by email to alert all clients far before denying the requested time.
IS YOUR CARD ON FILE UP TO DATE?
If we do not have a card on file for your booking profile we can not accept your booking request. All bookings require a card on file to secure your stylists time!
PLAN AHEAD
Our itty bitty committee of stylists book up fast! Sometimes one month or more in advance.
Walk-in appointments are highly unlikely!
We suggest booking the soonest available appointment online and following us on Instagram @headchopstudio
to keep up with day of appointment openings that may arise!

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Things to put in your noggin…
Rushing through an appointment is not an option for us, so we strongly suggest you arrive about 5 – 10 minutes early. If you’re more than 5 minutes late, there is a HIGH chance we might have to reschedule your appointment altogether resulting in a 100% charge of your scheduled service, which would be no bueno. We understand this is a tight window, but everyone’s appointment is important, and we have to respect everyones time. With new cleaning procedure and precautions taken to insure all of our health and safety, the studio is operating at half it’s usual capacity. This means that the time you book is now more valuable than ever! Missing an appointment due to late arrival is unfair for EVERYONE involved including your stylist and their valuable time.
We do ~dry~ chops, so please come to your appointment with dry, fresh, and tangle-free hair.
If your hair is curly or wavy keep your curls intact, and if it’s super straight have it down and detangled – in other words, keep things natural! Otherwise we might have to reschedule your appointment– a bummer for you and us both!
CANCELLATION & LATENESS POLICY
We lovingly ask that all changes or cancellations be made 48 hours prior to your appointment time.
We keep credit card information on-file for all services booked at Headchop.
Cancelations within 48 hours of a booking are charged 50% of the total appointment booked.
Missing your appointment due to lateness will incur a 100% charge of the booked service, and
Cancelations within 24 hours of a booking will be charged 100% of the booked service.
Clients that do not call and do not show up to an appointment will be required to pre-pay for any future booking, non-refundable in the event of a cancelation within the 48 hour time frame.
Fee charges are immediate upon canceling, rescheduling, or missing an appointment. Refunds are at managements discretion.
IS YOUR CARD SECURE?
Heck yeah, Baby! Our booking system uses an SSL encryption system that is PCI compliant, as all banks require. Through this system your card information is saved directly though your bank outside of our booking program.
